Raspberry Vegan Donut Recipe

I hate difficult recipes, hate is a strong word so I highly dislike long over complex worded recipes, seriously I can’t stand it! So my goal here is to share all my recipes and give the easiest ways to make delicious meals and treats and not over complicate everything. At the end of the day we want to learn how to make stuff and get to the goodness of eating this stuff after! Follow the recipe below and if you have any questions feel free to contact me or follow me on insta and send me a DM.

Things you’ll Need

  • 2 packs of Fresh or Frozen Raspberries

  • 1/4 cups old fashion oats

  • vegan egg replacer mix for one egg replaced

  • 3/4 cups gluten free flour or coconut flour (dealers choice)

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 tbs agave

  • 2 1/2 tbs coconut oil or vegan butter

  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 almond milk/ cashew milk / coconut milk (dealers choice)

  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar

  • ziplock bag

  • donut tray (honestly I have no idea how you’d make this recipe without one)

Ok so step one:

You are going to blend some goods or mix them in a bowl which ever is easier for you to break down the oats which are kind of annoying sorry. You will mix 1 pack of raspberries, the oats, flour, coconut oil or vegan butter, almond milk, baking powder and baking soda your salt, agave and vanilla extract. Blend until looks somewhat like batter.

Step 2:

Measure out your egg replacer and add into batch and blend until constancy looks minimally bumpy. Yes, sometimes those oats don’t fully breakdown so as you see if consistency. But, make sure they are broken down at least 75% totally doable. Go ahead and start prepping your pan and oven. Preheat to 350 degrees, coat your donut tray with coconut oil.

Step 3:

Using a ziplock bag, add mix half way to the ziplock bag don’t over fill you’ll make a mess, trust me. Go ahead and tube it out into the donut pan. You can always scoop and put it in the pan but i’ve always used this method. Fill about half way to 75%.This recipe should be enough for 6 donuts so that can help you figure out ratio. Stick in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10-15 minutes.

Step 4:

Let’s make the topper shall we, ok so those left over raspberries are about to come in handy. Use about 50 % of the little box, dump into a mixer. Also add 1 tbs of coconut oil, 1 tbs of agave, splash of milk of choice, 3/4 cups of powdered sugar and mix! The other raspberries you can use to top them like pictured above or enjoy for something else.

Step 5:

After you remove your donuts let sit and cool off before adding frosting. Place on a rack once somewhat cool than add frosting its pretty messy so i’d add a pan underneath. Add sprinkles, fruit, nuts or anything else your heart desires while frosting is not cool. Sit for about 5 minuted or place in fridge for maximum results and enjoy. I honestly can never resist I eat them right away!

I hope you enjoy this simple recipe this is so simple and so much fun to do with friends or little helpers! If you try this recipe let me know! Also mix it up change the fruit around be creative and most of all DONUT doubt yourself you got this!
