Easy going drink spot Last Straw

Drinking destination that is “serving vacation by the hour” and I like it, a lot!

The first time I went to Last Straw was on a late night after they recently opened the colors on the walls were vibrant and vivacious. The lights were dim and red but you could clearly see the blue and pink prints on the walls. It was a breath of fresh air compared to all the other bars around, I felt like a giddy child. It reminded me of an adult play ground/ escape from the Austin norm.

So what did I order my first time at Last Straw “A whole new world” a bowl of course! Don’t worry I was not alone as this should not be consumed alone believe me!! This sparkly pink Rose Cider, Ford’s Gin, Lemon and more concoction. It was a hell of a good night let me tell you.

I’ve since been back numerous times and had a great time each visit. I’ve made a list of my top 3 drinks to order when you visit Last Straw. This is a great spot to take friends, out of town guest or even a quick mini getaway from Austin ! Go on vacation for the hour haha!
